Report: Greek deputy prime minister likens IDF action in Gaza to Nazi armies

22 January 2010

According to the ‘Jerusalem Post’, Greek Deputy Prime Minister Theodoros Pangalos has returned an Israeli gift of three bottles of Golan wine in protest against Israel’s “illegal occupation” and the military action in Gaza.

The Israeli Embassy in Athens had sent the wine to Pangalos, who is in charge of coordinating Greek foreign and defense policy as well as economic and social policy, as a gift for the festive season. In a letter sent to the Embassy together with the returned wine, Pangalos said he had been taught not to steal or accept products of theft. “So I cannot possibly accept this gift and I must return it back to you. As you know, your country occupies illegally the Golan Heights which belong to Syria, according to international law and numerous decisions by the international community,” Pangalos was quoted by the ‘Jerusalem Post’ as writing to Israel’s ambassador in Greece, Ali Yihiye.

Referring to Nazi atrocities in Greece and Poland during World War II, Pangalos went on to state that the actions “of the Israel military in Gaza remind the Greek people of holocausts such as in Kalavrita, or Doxato, or Distomo, and certainly in the ghetto of Warsaw.” He called for an end to Hamas’s terrorist activities but also likened Israel’s actions in Gaza to those of Nazi Germany. “I take the opportunity to express my hope that Israel will find security into its internationally recognized borders and the terrorist activities against Israel territory by Hamas or anybody else will be contained and made impossible, but I also hope that your government will cease practicing the policy of collective punishment, which was applied on a mass scale by Hitler and his armies.”

In the 1960s, Pangalos fought against the military dictatorship in Greece, and in 1968, the junta deprived him of his Greek citizenship, which was later restored. Between 1996 and 1999, he served as Greece’s foreign minister. Pangalos is famous for his colorful language and his derogatory comments about foreign dignitaries. During the 1990s he described the Turkish establishment as “murderers, rapists and thieves”.

Holocaust-denying bishop sheds doubts on Israel’s legitimacy

21 January 2010

The ultra-traditionalist Catholic Bishop Richard Williamson, whose denial of the extent of the Holocaust created an uproar a year ago, in a French video clip has called the discussions between the Vatican and his Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) a “dialogue of the deaf.” Williamson is one of the four SSPX bishops whose excommunication was lifted by Pope Benedict only days after his controversial views on the Holocaust were broadcast on Swedish television. In an interview conducted in French and published on the video-sharing website ‘Dailymotion’, Williamson said the two sides had “absolutely irreconcilable” positions.

He discussed a number of issues with Pierre Panet, a man identified by the French Catholic newspaper ‘La Croix’ as a far-right politician. When asked about the negotiations under way with the Vatican to reintegrate the SSPX into the Roman Catholic Church, the British bishop said in fluent French:  “I think that will end up as a dialogue of the deaf. The two positions are absolutely irreconcilable… Either the SSPX becomes a traitor, or Rome converts or it is a dialogue of the deaf.”

The SSPX, which rejects the Second Vatican Council and the Catholic Church’s reconciliation with the Jews, broke from Rome in 1988 when Archbishop Lefebvre disobeyed Pope John Paul II and consecrated four bishops, including Williamson. Pope Benedict lifted the excommunications of the four in January 2009 and started negotiations aimed at finding a way to reintegrate the traditionalists into the Catholic Church. Recently , Benedict expressed hope that he would be able to reestablish full communion with the SSPX.

Williamson pointed out that for a real Catholic, only the Catholic faith was true, and all other religions were “more or less true and more or less false” and that hence there could be no agreement between the faiths on a religious level.

When Panet asked for him his views on Israel, Williamson said: “A lot of people think this state is legitimate, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is.” He also declared that the biblical notion of a “chosen people” had changed with the advent of Jesus Christ and that since then only those who had faith in Jesus were part of the chosen people.

The bishop also called Hamas and other groups in the Middle East “resistance movements” and said that the situation in the Middle East was “particularly difficult since 1947.” In that year, the United Nations adopted a plan to create a Jewish and an Arab state in Palestine.

Meanwhile, a court spokesman in Germany said that the trial of Williamson in the city of Regensburg on charges of incitement and Holocaust denial would not commence before mid-March.

Official denies saying that Hamas Charter calling for Israel’s destruction will be changed

21 January 2010

Hamas is reportedly ready to accept Israel’s right to exist and prepared to nullify its charter which calls for the destruction of the Jewish state, according to Aziz Dwaik, Hamas’s most senior representative in the West Bank and the elected speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council. According to the ‘Jerusalem Post’ Dwaik made these remarks during a meeting in Hebron with British millionaire David Martin Abrahams, who maintains close ties with senior Israeli and British government officials.

However, the Hamas politician later on Thursday denied that he had made any such statements. Dwaik was quoted on the Hamas website as saying that the report was “inaccurate” and that Hamas would never recognize the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands.

Abrahams told the ‘Jerusalem Post’ that he would urge Milliband to “consider the implications of Hamas’s positive overtures.”

“The [Hamas] charter was drafted more than 20 years ago,” Dwaik was quoted by the newspaper as saying, adding that “No one wants to throw anyone into the sea.”

I decide to research MORE and have come across several links that I found compelling and thought to share those findings here.

One google asking where did the term Nazi come from produced a STARTLING interpretation!!!

“Do we know where the NAZI-SS comes from? Who are the ASHKENAZI Jews?”

It is NOW apparent to me, that not ALL JEWS believe the SAME things,  therefore,  as I look back to my growing up years and remember how we were told without question, that it was America’s DUTY to protect Israel and the jews because they were God’s Chosen People., I  find now, that I MUST question the WHY of it all. (Thanks P and H—you opened my mind by your accusation)

Also, if they wanted a “Nation”, why did they not use the one established in 1928 FOR those European “Jew” Converts?  Birobidzhan is STILL there and waiting.

Was the messege stamped into our minds as a blind ideology to consider them ONE AND THE SAME?  I think MORE research is in order to hopefully understand WHY we American’s just assume that All Jews follow the same “doctrine”.

I think that cruelty and mass murder of or by ANY race to be considered wrong!  And I also find it naive for some to NOT believe or understand that rival tribes DO KILL one another for various reasons. I mean for starters, Cain Killed Abel….

I have a faint memory of Pres. Jimmy Carter being against the “Nationhood making” of Israel….perhaps he is not as “Anti-Semitic” as the media portrayed him to be…..but I need to research this and post the findings another day.

KENITES: Offspring of Cain who is the son of Satan “serpent seed’  & Eve  Gen 3

Disguised as our brother Judah but are NOT Judah (Not to say all Jews are Kenites, but there are those who have infiltrated the tribe of Judah and have disguised themselves & claim a heritage which is not theirs.)  Rev 2:9; Rev 3:9  Marking the sons of Cain for documented proof using the KJV Bible proving this infiltration.

Israel calls UN Gaza report ‘anti-Semitic’

(AFP) – 18 hours ago

JERUSALEM — A UN report on Israel’s 22-day offensive against Hamas-controlled Gaza is anti-Semitic, an Israeli government minister said, as the Jewish state prepares to formally respond to its allegations of war crimes. (When did the Jewry become Semites aka ARABS? and HOW can disagreeing with Jewry be considered Anti -Semite? Oh, I get it. If you DON’T agree with Jewry, or if they are held accountable for their wrong doings, then of course, you are an Anti-Semite!)

“The Goldstone Report … and similar reports, are simply a type of anti-Semitism,” Diaspora and Information Minister Yuli Edelstein told the YNet news agency ahead of a trip to New York, where he will present Israel’s rebuttal on Thursday.

YNet’s report suggested the Israeli leadership is planning an all-out attack on the report to coincide with Wednesday’s anniversary of the 1945 liberation of Auschwitz……

Greek government slow to respond to rising anti-Semitism

By Jean Cohen
Published: Friday, January 29, 2010 1:09 AM EST

ATHENS, Greece (JTA) — Until recently, Greece had gone a long time without violent anti-Semitism.

The few manifestations of anti-Semitism here appeared mostly in the form of graffiti, racist screeds in marginal, neo-fascist publications, or the occasional verbal epithet leveled against a Greek Jew.

But then came the Gaza war a year ago, inflaming passions against Jews and setting off a series of anti-Semitic incidents.

  6. Judaism is a Religion – Not a Race
    by: Rabbi Moses Jakubowicz
    15 May 2008

During the Middle Ages, the Jewish people suffered many a time from fanatically religious governments who expelled or killed whoever refused to adhere to their religious belief. In the modern era, the Jewish people suffer due to the world’s misunderstanding of the distinction between Judaism and Zionism.

Judaism is a religion, not a race. Throughout history, whoever joined the Jewish religion was called a Jew, no matter what his race, and whoever abandoned the Holy Torah was not considered a Jew. In fact, the biggest names in Jewish history were converts or descendants of converts: King David, Zipporah, Rabbi Akiva, Rabbi Meir, Shmaya and Avtalyon.

The proponents of Zionism, for their own political and financial advantage, have transformed the Jewish religion into a race. Similarly, they have taken the Torah, a book of Divine law which teaches fairness, peace and piety, and transformed it into a vehicle for their political goals, a source for their claims to a piece of land. These claims took their latest form this week, when, to our sorrow, the Zionist falsification was brought to the world’s eyes by the media.

President Bush is visiting the State of Israel, and several rabbis of the extremist Zionist settler community have penned a letter to the President, asking him to stop putting pressure on the Israeli leadership to make land concessions to the Palestinian Authority.

    The letter read in part:

“It is totally presumptuous that while the US fights terror, it pressures Israel to make concessions to terrorists! In the name of the people of Israel, the Land of Israel, the Torah of Israel and the G-d of Israel, we demand that his honor the president cease the pressure on the State to hand lands to the Arabs… Honorable President, you must not be remembered in history as Nebuchadnezzar and Titus who destroyed Jerusalem. You must surely remember that American does not benefit from causing damage, Heaven forbid, to the Jewish people and its land. If you help the wholeness of our holy land, we promise you and your country endless blessings.”

Signed: Dov Lior, David Druckman, Yaakov Yosef, Shmuel Eliyahu and Shalom Dov Wolpe.

The writers of this letter call themselves rabbis and speak in the name of the Jewish religion, but the world must not allow itself to be fooled. They are radical politicians and militants advancing their own agenda, for which they are distorting the Holy Torah and by doing so they are jeopardizing the Jewish people in the entire world as the Zionists did in the Second World War.

We look forward to the Messianic Era, when Jerusalem will be “a house of prayer for all nations” (Isaiah 56:7)

  7. Those who continue to call the so-called “state of Israel” the “Jewish State” are not only promoting Zionism which is contrary to the beliefs of true Judaism, but also endorsing the promotion of worldwide anti-Semitism. In doing so they are endangering the lives of traditional Jews and denying their civil liberties and human rights.

When the British foreign secretary, Arthur Balfour (sponsor of the 1905 Aliens Act to restrict Jewish immigration to the UK), wanted the British government to commit itself to a Jewish homeland in Palestine, his declaration was delayed – not by anti-Semites but by leading figures in the British Jewish community. They included a Jewish member of the cabinet who called Balfour’s pro-Zionism “anti-Semitic in result”.
In contrast, a great statesman like Secretary of State Colin Powell, a supporter of traditional Judaism, has the courage to separate Judaism from Zionism and to acknowledge that speaking out against the actions of the Zionist state is not “anti-Semitism”.

We call upon our leaders in Washington to disassociate the actions of the Zionist state from traditional Judaism by no longer referring to “Israel” as the “Jewish State” but as “the Zionist State” and to speak out against the Zionist actions which promote anti-Semitism.

  8. Washington, 25 January (WashingtonTV)—Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met with his Mauritanian counterpart, Mohammad Ould Abdel Aziz, on Monday in Tehran, and praised him for breaking diplomatic ties with Israel.

Ahmadinejad said the move was “of significant value, which should set an example to the rest of the Islamic countries.”

Mauritania, in West Africa, cut its ties with Israel in January 2009 and recalled its ambassador from Israeli, in protest at Israel’s three-week military offensive in the Gaza Strip last year.

Ahmadinejad, who often rails against the state of Israel, said that the “Zionist regime is the root of corruption in the region.” (NOTE: He is NOT stating ALL JEWS, ONLY ZIONIST!)

  9. Wow—-I bet these videos will stir up a hornets nest!! LOL
All I can say at this point is, BOY, have I been BLIND and feel like I’ve been hit up side the head!

  10. It appears in the scripture below that Jesus understood there was a DIFFERENCE…WOW!!! I totally OVERLOOKED this—didn’t tie the “meaning” together until recently!!

    Revelation 2:9
“I know thy works, and the tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.” –Jesus Christ

  11. Sami
Thank you for these kind words~~ Hugs my friend.

Lisa anyone who knows you knows all too well that you are not nor have you ever been anti-semite. Of course when you try to bring forth important issues we are facing you are always going to have those who can’t handle the truth. Shame on them for resorting to such a thing. They should know better.

  12. Yes that land USED to belong to the Israelite s thousands of years ago. HOWEVER, THEY did NOT win it back in BATTLE, it was GIVEN back to them by FORCE of FOREIGN INFLUENCE….BIG difference.
Also the agreement made then when “Britain” etc, did this deal, HAS NOT been kept. And according to some Jews, the taking of or possession of a Nation as sovereign is FORBIDDEN under their Torah.

“Following the birth of political Zionism in 1897 and the Balfour Declaration, the League of Nations granted the United Kingdom the British Mandate of Palestine after World War I, with responsibility for establishing “…such political, administrative and economic conditions as will secure the establishment of the Jewish national home, as laid down in the preamble, and the development of self-governing institutions, and also for safeguarding the civil and religious rights of all the inhabitants of Palestine, irrespective of race and religion…
Since then, Israel has fought a series of wars with neighboring Arab states, and in consequence, Israel controls territories beyond those delineated in the 1949 Armistice Agreements.
Some international borders remain in dispute, however Israel has signed peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan, though efforts to resolve conflict with the Palestinians have so far only met with limited success.”

  13. * A Jew is one who remains faithful to the laws of the Jewish religion, that is, the Holy Torah and its commandments.
    * The Jewish people became a people before they had their own land, and continued to exist as a people also after they went Into exile, because our very people hood is based exclusively on the Torah.

    The Holy Torah

    * The Holy Land was given to the Jewish people on the condition that they observe the Torah and its commandments. When they failed to do this, their sovereignty over the land was taken from them, and they went into exile. From that time, we are prohibited by the Torah with a very grave prohibition to establish a Jewish independent sovereignty in the Holy Land or anywhere throughout the world. Rather, we are obligated to be loyal to the nations under whose protection we dwell.
    * This situation has existed for close to 2000 years when the Jewish people were dispersed throughout all corners of the world. During this time, the Jews always remained faithful to the country in which they lived.
    * The Jewish people are grateful to all those merciful nations which have allowed them to observe Torah and the commandments undisturbed.
    * From ancient times, the relations between the Jewish and Islamic peoples have always been those of peace and brotherhood, and friendship always reigned between them. The proof of this is the fact that for centuries, in all the Arab lands, hundreds of thousands of Jews lived in honor and amidst mutual esteem.
    * Jews throughout all generations yearned to grace the sacred soil of the Holy Land and to live there. However, their sole purpose was to fulfill the commandments dependent upon the land and to absorb Its holiness. Never, G-d forbid, did they have any nationalist or sovereign intent whatsoever which, as mentioned above, is forbidden to us. Indeed, also here in the Holy Land, our fathers lived in neighborly harmony with the Palestinian residents of the land, helping one another, to mutual benefit.
    * Until about two hundred years ago, the vast majority of Jews observed the Torah and the commandments in entirety. Jewry’s leaders were Torah scholars, who directed the people according to the Torah. They were loyal citizens in the host nations where they dwelled and to the local laws. They prayed for the welfare of their respective governments. To our sorrow, at that time a small number of Jews slowly left their observance of Torah and commandments. Together with this, they began to deride the spiritual leadership of their people. This assimilation was the basis upon which, one hundred years ago, the ideology of Zionism was born. Its founders were assimilated Jews who had abandoned the Torah.
    * Immediately at the founding of the Zionist movement, masses of Jews under the leadership of their Rabbis, launched a heavy battle against Zionism. Their attack was directed not only at the non-religious Zionist idea, but rather, primarily at its opposition to the Torah-ordained path that Jewry must follow while in exile. As such, the Zionists incited the nations of the world, demanding political sovereignty over the Holy Land while remaining oblivious to the resentment this would arouse In the Palestinian Arabs, the land’s veteran inhabitants. As stated, the leaders of Orthodox Jewry vehemently opposed the movement with all force.
    * The Zionists refused to heed the voice of the Rabbis and Torah authority. They persisted in their ways until they succeeded in influencing the British government to issue the Balfour Declaration concerning the “establishment of a national home for the Jews in the land of Israel.” To our great sorrow, from that point on began the deterioration of the good relations between the Jews and the Arab inhabitants of the land. This occurred because the Arab people understood that the Zionists wished to seize ruler ship from them. In addition, the Arab people had suspicions as if the Jewish people wished to seize control of the Temple Mount and other similar sites. Matters worsened as a result.
    * The Jewish leadership of that time saw it as proper to clarify before the Arab leaders that the Torah-true Jews had no desire whatsoever for sovereignty, and that our desire was to continue to live in peace with the Arabs, as we had always done. The leader of the G-d-fearing Jewish community at that time, Rabbi Yoseph Chaim Zonnenfeld. of blessed memory, organized a delegation in July of 24′ which visited King Hussein and his sons Faisal the King of Iraq and the Amir Abdullah In order to lucidly present to them the position of the G-d-fearing Jewish community. The Jewish delegation clarified unequivocally that Torah Jewry is totally opposed to the Zionist sovereignty over the Holy Land. It Is worth noting that the delegation was received with great honor. They were even assured that all Arab lands were completely open to Jews, however, on the condition that the Jews do not demand political rights. This condition also applied to the Holy Land. One of the members of the Jewish delegation, Professor Yisroel Yaakov De Haan, paid with his life for his participation.
    * Torah Jewry protests at every opportunity against the Zionist rule over the Holy Land, and the Zionist rebellion against the neighboring nations. Torah Jewry has condemned the Zionist oppression of the Palestinians, the land’s veteran inhabitants who have been driven from their homes and properties. The Zionists’ barbaric and violent deeds are absolutely antithetical to the essence of the Jewish people.
    * Torah Jewry has never ever recognized the Zionist state. Since the Zionists succeeding in establishing their state, Torah Jewry has continuously announced to the world that the Zionists do not represent the Jewish people, and that the name “Israel” that they use is a forgery. For as has been stated above, it is forbidden to us from the Torah to rebel against the nations, and all sovereignty by us is prohibited. Rather, we await the days when all the world will recognize the sovereignty of the Creator, and the words of the prophet Isaiah will yet be fulfilled: “And they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. No nation will lift its sword against any other, nor will they learn warfare anymore.”
    * Anti-Zionist Orthodox Jews have refrained to this day from taking any funds from the Zionist regime, whether for their educational institutions, synagogues or other benefits. Obviously, they do not participate in the Zionist elections, whether for the “Knesset” or for the municipality. We do not serve in their army, and we even avoid speaking in the Hebrew language that the Zionists Invented. (incidentally, this is not the holy and true Hebrew language in which the Bible is written.) All this is done because Torah Jewry does not recognize the Zionist regime, which Is against the Torah and against humanity.
    * Lately, the question has once again arisen concerning the Temple Mount and sovereignty over it. Thus, we wish to state unequivocally: a) In our time, it is a severe Torah prohibition for any Jew to set foot on any part of the Temple Mount area. b) The Jewish people have no claim whatsoever to sovereignty over this holy site, which is under Islamic authority, nor over any other holy site. Rabbi Zonenfeld was once asked, “is it true, that the Rabbi prefers an non-Jewish government over all of the Holy Land”? Rabbi Zonenfeld replied, “if King Hussein would rule over Palestine, the holiness of the Holy Land would not be diminished to even to an Iota degree”. We yearningly await G-d’s great day, when He will return His Divine Presence to Zion, restoring the holy city to its former holiness and glory as in days of old, to be a light to the peoples and the nations.
    * The Zionists have no right of any sovereignty over even one inch of the Holy Land. They do not represent the Jewish people in any way whatsoever. They have no right to speak in the name of the Jewish people. Therefore, their words, declarations and actions are not in any way representative of the Jewish people. This is because the Zionists’ seizing of power over the Holy Land is antithetical to Jewish law, and also because the Zionists do not behave like Jews at all rather, they desecrate the sanctity of the land.
    * We once again clarify that it is our desire to live in peace with our Arab and Palestinian neighbors, as we did before the Zionist revolution, and as Jews all over the world till today live, accepting the yoke of rulership of their host nation, with complete loyalty. Our sole desire is to serve our G-d and to fulfill His commandments with a perfect heart and to delight in the radiance of the sanctity of the Land.

  14. Here is another link that really KNOCKED my socks off!!

    What is Zionism?
One of our most oft-asked questions is “what is Zionism?”
Zionism is a movement founded by Theodor Herzl in 1896 whose goal is the return of Jews to Eretz Yisrael, or Zion, the Jewish synonym for Jerusalem and the Land of Israel.

The name of “Zionism” comes from the hill Zion, the hill on which the Temple of Jerusalem was situated.

Supporters of this movement are called “Zionists”.

The purpose of this website is to explain why traditional Jews do not support Zionism (the return to the land called “Israel”) and why the Zionist idealogy is totally contrary to traditional Jewish law and beliefs and the teachings of the Holy Torah.

  15. Here is another piece of info I found to consider while evaluating some of this Controversial Ideology….
“An important binary in the New Testament is the opposition between law and love. Accordingly, the New Testament presents the Pharisees as obsessed with man-made rules (especially concerning purity) whereas Jesus is more concerned with God’s love; the Pharisees scorn sinners whereas Jesus seeks them out. Because of the New Testament’s frequent depictions of Pharisees as self-righteous rule-followers (see also Woes of the Pharisees), the word “pharisee” (and its derivatives: “pharisaical”, etc.) has come into semi-common usage in English to describe a hypocritical and arrogant person who places the letter of the law above its spirit.”

Seems ALL Religions are just full of doctrines that vary from each other, EVEN within the same ‘general” faith.

From wipedia… (I know not the best source, but all I’ve had time to look for in defining/narrowing down this SUDDEN reveiw of what I THOUGHT I knew and understood.)
”The first mention of the Pharisees is by the Jewish-Roman historian Josephus, in a description of the “four schools of thought” (that is, sects, social groups, or movements) into which the Jews were divided in the 1st century CE. The other schools were the Essenes, the revolutionaries, and the Sadducees. The Essenes were generally apolitical. The revolutionary groups, such as the Sicarii and the Zealots, emerged specifically to resist the Roman Empire. Other sects emerged at this time, such as the Early Christians in Jerusalem and the Therapeutae in Egypt. The Pharisees and their opponents the Sadducees were two of the earliest sects to emerge in the Second Temple period, as political factions during the Hellenist Hasmonean rule. At no time did any of these sects constitute a majority; most Jews were non-sectarian. However, Josephus indicates that the Pharisees received the backing and good-will of the common people, apparently in contrast to the more elite Sadducees associated with the ruling classes. Nevertheless, these sects are emblematic of the different responses of Jews to the political, economic, and cultural forces that characterized the Second Temple era.

For most of their history, Pharisees considered themselves in opposition to the Sadducees. Conflicts between the Sadducees and the Pharisees took place in the context of much broader conflicts among Jews in the Second Temple era, which followed the Babylonian captivity of Judah. One conflict was class, between the wealthy and the poor. Another conflict was cultural, between those who favored hellenization and those who resisted it. A third was juridico-religious, between those who emphasized the importance of the Temple, and those who emphasized the importance of other Mosaic laws and prophetic values. A fourth, specifically religious, involved different interpretations of the Bible (or Tanakh), and how to apply the Torah to Jewish life, with the Sadducees recognizing only the written letter of the Tanakh or Torah and rejecting life after death, while the Pharisees held to Rabbinic interpretations additional to the written texts.

These conflicts, practically speaking, define the Second Temple Era, a time when the Temple had tremendous authority but questionable legitimacy, and a time when the sacred literature of the Torah, and Bible or Tanakh were being canonized. Fundamentally, Sadducees and Pharisees took clearly opposing positions concerning the third and fourth conflicts, but at different times were influenced by the other conflicts. In general, whereas the Sadducees were conservative, aristocratic monarchists, the Pharisees were eclectic, popular and more democratic. (Roth 1970: 84) The Pharisaic position is exemplified by the assertion that “A learned mamzer takes precedence over an ignorant High Priest.” (A mamzer, according to the Pharasaic definition, is an outcast child born of a forbidden relationship, such as adultery or incest, in which marriage of the parents could not lawfully occur. The word is often, but incorrectly, translated as “illegitimate” or “bastard.”)[2]

Sadducees rejected the Pharisaic tenet of an oral Torah, and created new interpretations based on a literal understanding of verses.[citation needed] In their personal lives this often meant an excessively stringent lifestyle from a Jewish perspective, as they did away with the oral tradition, and in turn the Pharisaic Jewish understanding of the Torah. An example of this differing approach is the interpretation of, “an eye in place of an eye”. The Pharisaic understanding was that the value of an eye was to be paid by the perpetrator[3]. In the Sadducees’ view the words were given a more literal interpretation, in which the offender’s eye would be removed.[4] From the point of view of the Pharisees, the Sadducees wished to change the Jewish understanding of the Torah.”

Being called an Anti-Semite FREAKED me the hell out!!!LOL
I had to research this accusation to see if perhaps I was and just didn’t know it—and I found that ANYONE that questions the Zionist movement appears to be termed a “Jew Hater”….good grief!
I don’t HATE anyone and I have NEVER thrown a whole race of people into one lump sum. I’m a FIRM believer of judging a person by their character, not the color of their skin, religion, or race!
